I think it was "p***y white boy", but anyways, great catch. The league office should know about it and suspend Delonte. That's ridiculous. The finger in the ear was funny. But the epithat isn't. If that was Gordon saying that to Delonte, we'd never hear the end of it. And if the league wants to stop retaliatory acts, they should suspend Delonte for provocation. Anything less sends the wrong message. Delonte needs to be suspended.
Where are you guys getting this from? I cant hear anything Delote is saying, just the announcers. Also, I've always wondered this, does the term "white boy" offend any white people here and to what extent? Is there a worst racial slur?
Okay, well, if you read his lips that's pretty much exactly what he says. Now, as someone who's played basketball for years and, at least I'm told, done so at a pretty good level, being called "white boy" just comes with the territory. HOWEVER Within this context I take great offense. Clearly there's a racial undertone here. West is pissed for whatever reason, Hayward killing him most likely and he not only gives Hayward a wet willie but says that kind of bs to him. It's provocation using race. West is scum. Sorry. But I hate guys like him who feel the need to make basketball a racial thing.

What would happen if Chris Andersen put his finger in Shane Battier's ear and called him "p***y black boy"? That is the reverse equivalent of what you have here. It is simply not acceptable. Delonte should be gone for the season and post season.

im glad delonte is on the mavs, yet another reason to hate that team and anything associated with them. the only thing i hate more are the heat
They saw that because thats what they wanted to see. They wanted that to be what he said so that they could say "thats racist" and show the world that "those people" can be racist as well
