    Los Angeles Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro acknowledged that the team is open to trading big man Chris Kaman, which should pique the interest of some teams around the NBA considering the league’s dearth of centers.

    "It depends on what is out there, if there is someone we feel makes us a better team," Del Negro told the Los Angeles Daily News when asked if Kaman may be moved. "We're not in a position not to take a look at everything. It's nothing against Chris. He has tremendous skills. I love him and we need him. But if there is something that would help improve the L.A. Clippers, we would look at anything.”

    L.A. coach Vinny Del Negro says the club will "look at anything" in terms of trades, and that includes possibly moving center Chris Kaman. Kaman’s contract, which pays him just under $12 million annually, runs through the end of next season.

    Kaman has been out since Dec. 5 with an injury to his left ankle, and DeAndre Jordan has been playing well in his absence, averaging 25.6 minutes, 7.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks.

    I'd like to see him play for us but his injury history scares me. He better come cheap if he comes at all

    We should sign him, Oden, Yao and Bynum. Worst case: each can only play 1/4 of the season... but best case is that they are all healthy simultaneously and we can trot out a "quadruple towers" unit that will confuse every team we play against.

    Good move by the Clips, Jordan is clearly their future and they could pick up a nice asset or two out of this.

    Battier/Hill for Kaman sounds fair to me but if they insist then I might move the Knicks' pick as well.

    Chris Kaman seems to play great every other year, plus next year will be a contract year, and thus Chris Kaman should be extra motivated. Like the Mavericks who traded for Tyson Chandler when his value was low, a team can be getting a low price steal with Chris Kaman...

    A big man could really help Atlanta in a big way. Do the Clippers want Williams? Would the Heat trade Miller?

    Thats really all he's worth at this point with all his injuries. I wouldn't give up anymore then that though. Same goes for someone like Dalembert too.

    i don't understand why ppl want these old players on our team. we're rebuilding. chris kaman is old. gerald wallace is old. marcus camby is old. do not want, stop asking for them.

    Old? Both guys are 28, they should be in their prime. If we're rebuilding why do we have a 32 and 30 year old starting for a 22-27 team.

    Kaman isn't worth a dime unless a team feels like they are a C away from contending. Rockets would be stupid to trade for him unless it's right after a blockbuster that netted them a superstar.
