Defranco's gym is where Cushing trains. It's nice to have the other side of the story for once. I am starting to think this whole stripping of the ROY is espn's ploy for Byrd to get it since he plays in the east. If Peppers and Merriman keep their awards.. it's unfair to strip Cushing.

I never proclaimed his innocence did I?

I am only saying if merriman and peppers keep theirs then he should too.

Change the rules if you have too next year but his play stands since they let him play.

Sounds like his undetectable designer steroid was lowering his testosterone level.

HCG is not even a steroid! I don't why AP is re-voting. That is so dumb! And why is it such a big deal if guys take hormones or supplements. Anything can be considered performance enhancing nowadays! Their cleats, unis, gloves, gatorade. It shouldn't be a big deal! This PED witchhunt is getting ridiculous!

Maybe not roids, no. I'd like to hear what he failed the test for though. The banned substance list can be a load of crap for some substances.

Did you enjoy your day in your cave yesterday? hCG is what he tested positive for. It is used to rebuild a "certain part of the male body" after a cycle of steriods.

I'm a big fan of Joe Defranco's work and I can't blame him for believing his friend's innocent, but that doesn't change my mind one bit. Defranco said he was shocked when he heard the news. If Cushing's known for months about the test and if he was innocent wouldn't you think he'd tell his strength coach and a guy that considers him to be a part of his family about it?

I don't know how he ranks compared to someone like Grover, but Defranco handles/trains/makes some freak athletes.

I'm surprised this guy found the time to write this and could tear himself away from rolling on the Shore with The Situation, J-Woww, Snookie, et al.
