FIRE Wayne Hall, and fire all the medical staff. There are responsabilites for the coaches, there are responsabilities for the players, but it seems there are NEVER responsabilities por the docs. Stop with this bad lucktopic, when a player has so many injuries, at least he's very ill-advised / guided by his medical environment. Remember is not only about McGrady, is abou everyone in this ****in franchise.
T-Mac's hyping his "injury". You're talking about canning people because of a flaky hypochondriac who's gone shopping for medical opinions because no responsible professional would give him the diagnosis that he wants.
wayne hall works for mcgrady. not the rockets. thankfully he doesn't get to work with any of the other players.
wayne hall is independently hired by Tmac and is a personal friend of his he wont be fired. and the rockets medical staff have nothing to do with this...its really all on tmac and his own dedication. the staff cant force him to rehab they only have to lay out what he needs to do and stress to him how important it is to him to do it. its like the old adage "you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink" (its something like that)
Fire T-Mac's kids too for forcing him to be a father instead of rehabbing in the gym like he is suppose to do. How dare he raise his kids during the Rockets season!!!!!!!
Fire Dr. Andews, widely regarded as the best orthopaedic surgeons in the country. Fire the Suns doctors too. Obviously, all the best experts in the world with the most sophisticated technology all missed diagnosing one of the highest profile athletes in the world. It couldn't be that McGrady isn't being honest.
you still haven't got it. his knee is fundamentally sound. playing will not damage his knee. the problem is the pain he has. he can't bear the pain. there are many way to reduce the pain. playing through is one. it depends on mental toughness. microfracture surgery is another one. but it is the last option suggested by all doctors who diagnosed his MRIs. why? coz it could end his career. if tmac were young, doctors would definitely suggest coz the chance of success is high when you are young. did you get?
I know it. Oh, of course, can't be the doctors failing, never. In fact, everybody can fail at his work except them, I forgot that. "Put him on the court, now rest, now rest a day and play the next". We can talk about Yao's injuries, about Artest's ankle theme, we have a long historial about McGradys injuries. All of this not talking about Wayne Hall... that's apart. What is an absolutey idiocy is to blame a player even for all of his injuries. Is people r****ded? McGrady is guilty even for having knee injured, surgery and again the knee injured... can you leave aside the hate and the stupidity?
Do you get "paranoia"? Do you know the diagnostic of all doctors? Of course Tracy prefers to sit again an wait 12 months to play again. I'm sure. So sick of haters.
i guess when you're sick you probably see every doctor on the earth to make sure they are not wrong. unfortunately, you may make a mistake like you said everyone could make mistakes. your list may not be complete. you have all doctors but one. that one will definitely give you a correct answer. sorry, you're going to die coz your own mistake. did you get this time?
Hasn't T-Mac been trying to play on it? Doesn't look like its working. If playing on it helps relieve the pain, then why is he still limping or gingerly moving around the court? You would think that with less pain, he could move better. But I haven't really seen a difference from the beginning of the season, until now. How long does it take to treat it that way?
Read yourself before post a comment. I certainly speak poor english, but some of you simply can't argue. People is saying McGrady look at his own interests, not thinking about that maybe the team (Morey) is looking for their interests. You get the contradiction? No, because you're right now with the attitude of a mad kid. Club can be disappointed with Tmac's decision, but they can't decide for him about his body. What doctors could have made is a better job in this past years.
it's kinda like rehab. you can't stop in the middle of rehab and expect a good thing to happen. you don't stop taking medicine when you are not completely healed. i don't believe playing a couple games will cure his pain. rehab is always a long term after a surgery. as doctors believe, if he keeps playing, his pain will eventually be reduced. he is kinda person who can't bear his pain so he has to take days off. it dramatically slow down his recover. i don't know how much pain he had but doctor believe he can survive. clearly doctors made a mistake on their perspective.
i agree he is look at his own interest. he is betting his career in the pot and praying he will be health during 2010 summer. however, fans pay tickets to watch him and he is still under the contract which is 20 mils. rox oragnization hasn't done any crazy thing other than following doctors' suggestion and encouraging him to play through the pain. if every doctor said he should get a surgery at the beginning, i don't believe fans will be angry and i don't believe the rox will block the surgery just for its own interests.
