I havent seen a Rockets game for one year now. The only oppertunity I could have seen a game was a week ago when they play the Suns and I missed it!!

    :D

Anyway one thing I have been thinking about is what we need to REALLY be one of the best teams in the League. Sure having players that can score 30 on any given night is great, but defence wins championships.

Does anyone else think that maybe we should try to get a defensive minded SG to play in the backcourt with Franchise?

I wouldnt want to get rid of Mobley if possible. He is a great player and there is something about him that means he should always be a Houston Rocket (Maybe because he's a bit of an underdog.). He would be a very good player to bring off the bench and keep the point flowing.

If you think we should try to get a good defender at SG rather then a high scorer, who do you suggest would be a good fit in the Rockets lineup.

Its good to see all of the rebuilding is starting to pay off. I just hope the next time the Rockets are on ESPN Im bloody well watching the game. :)

AMEN. I said a while back we should go after Ron Artest. He would be perfect -- his offence has really come on this season too. But, with all the success Indiana is enjoying right now -- I doubt they would trade him. However, they still have a weakness at backup point guard. In addition, when Reggie returns -- Artest may be on the bench as a 6th man.

    How about this:

    Moochie Norris
    Kenny Thomas

    for

    Ron Artest
    Indiana's 1st round pick

Moochie is the dumbest guy we have on the court (we had it at 62-62) and his sickness appears to have rubbed off on Kenny. Moochie is good for nothing! As we transition out of a perimiter run team to the old Hakeem days w/ a "real" center Moochie's necessity is obsolete. His min. have already gone way down -- when he's kills the flow w/ ALL THAT DAMN DRIBBLING! It's crazy- give the damn ball up! Yao and Steve must be the focal points. Mobley needs to be a 6th man-- or become a playmaker and not a gunner. He's too streaky- let him be our Vinne "Microwave" Johnson.

We need a more balanced SG because the scorers for this team will be Steve and Yao. The SG still needs to be able to create his own shot, but must also have a balance of a good passing game and defense to boot to fit in with our future stars. Don't forget EG, he'll need a good Guard to give him the ball when he starts posting up too.

If Artest is so good, why would the Pacers trade him? You guys need to stop with all the nonsense and come up with some players who we could actually get.
