Anyone know, where I can take the course and also offer food? I heard of a course and meal type place around the willowbrook area. Anyhow, can anyone recommend a good place, I went to the Laff Spot two years ago, and it was horrible, as in not funny, 6 hours of stupid crap.

I am really looking for something that I can either skim through or I can get some food out of. Thanks in Advance.

I recommend an online course. Self paced is nice and you can sit back and watch a ball game while taking the course.

whats a good online one. ie. one that streams videos.

I did one a few years back and it was all reading, it was brutal.

If theres not a good online video one, I will rent the dvd.

I took comedy defensive driving online. It was horrible also. There is no way around it. It's just 6 hours of torture, but the benefits are worth it.

Doing it online is great. You can play your music in the background and eat your favorite food. Take your break when you want. You save money on gas by not driving out of the way.

If the course is really bad, you can have a beer or two to make it less painful. :) It's all good, because you aren't driving anywhere.

this is what I did. I just let the videos play themselves and did something else. I would come back and just answer the questions at the end of each chapter. It's easy and does not take long.

I just a couple of weeks paid off my irresponsible speeding dues by going to www.idrivesafely.com and taking their course. I completed it in a couple of days for about 2 hours each day, non-stop, using the cut-n-paste method someone in a past "should I take defensive driving" thread suggested, and I passed EVERY test with 100% accuracy. The difference for me was that I had to stay up late reading the pages to answer the questions, as they require you to spend a minimum amount of time on each page. Hey, I learned a lot, though, don't say I cheated, 'cuz I didn't.

Go to Blockbuster dude they have it there for about 30 bucks. You can watch from the comfort of your couch or bed and take the quizzes after each chapter online.

I think thats the one I did and it sucked. I want something that is 100% video so that I can be doing other things while it is playing. No reading clicking pages etc.

Maybe I will try the other one mentioned or probably just rent the video

This little birdy told me if you go to one of those DD places in Chinatown, Houston and make the right offer, you don't even have to take the course. You might have to be Asian though.

It's the same everywhere. It's regulated by the government. The only difference is the cost in sending the certifictate by overnight delivery or regular mail. Some places may offer overnight delivery for the same price as regular as a special deal.

Defensive driving sucks regardless of which one you do. Video ones are also terrible. Whatever you do don't do those "humorous" ones. It's so cheesy you want to rip out your brain. I suggest idrivesafely.com
