Whattup guys...i wanted to let everyone know how i defended our boys at the game So we're down 12 in the first and this laker fan looks over at me and the convo ensues him: the day tracy mcgrady gets out of the first round is the day i los my balls me: oh so i guess your losing your balls this year, have your mom kiss em goodbye him: look at the banners up there, dont you wish you had some? me: we got 2 you idiot Later, when we were up 12 me: you worried? him: please, kobe can score 12 in his sleep me: i gotta give you credit, kobe is really good him: yea me: he's the only player in world that can a triple double with points, rebounds, and rapes.... End of the game, i patted him on the back and said, "its ok man, look at those banners, atleast you still got the past to hold onto"
I can always tell what time it is without looking at the clock but just by browsing the boards.. posts like this? Yep it has to be 2:30am central It's cool to stick up for your team, whether this story is cool enough to warrant it to be shared among us is un-decided, though bare in mind this was directed towards a hostile lakers fan.. and from the way it sounds, this hostile lakers most likley was a virgin.
yeah the people around us were pretty cool, after the game when people started coming down to try to get better pictures those guys/people leaving going up were talking trash, man there were some little kids cussing up a storm I couldnt believe it we're like where the parents at I want smack these kids for using that language, not so much that they were dissing the rockets. there was a cute little kid in the section next to us, 106 near the top wearing a francis pj jersey and had a rockets logo painted on his face, i highed five him when going up to get some food at halftime.
If you ever get to attend an SEC football game at a place like lsu, florida, etc by all means go. Then you will get to see what a "hostile sports environment" is really like. Good to see you "defended our boys" though, you big tough guy you.
I salute you my brother. I too am a rockets fan living in an la kobe bryant's world. I can remember having the same conversations with laker fans whenever I watch the rockets play in staples. I had the same convo you had on our xmas game a few years back. its just great to see all the laker fans get embarased by the rockets on their homecourt. ... I don't get the same treatment though when I watch the clips play the rockets. probably coz they have nothing to brag about. lol
it wasn't so bad for me this time in Staples Center. a few families and a couple of business men from New York were near me, so they were having fun and asking me trivia about the Rockets... last season however, in March, there was a drunk guy who was heckling me... at one point, he screamed out that "Tracy is a girls name!" my response was "...Said the guy with a man named Sasha on his team!" then, when Kobe hit the three pointer to send the game to overtime, he was all over me.I casually ignored him and waited until the game was over and the Rockets had won. I really laid into him, talking about the playoffs and conveniently he was on his cell phone acting like he couldnt hear me...
