There is not a better place to buy DVD's on the net. Just found Adventures in Babysitting for $5.55 with Free Shipping. God, that movie brings back memories.
btw, u hear they are doing a remake of that movie? I saw it reported in a Entertainment Weekly magazine a few weeks ago.... First it was "Can't Buy Me Love" with Nick Cannon's (he's HILARIOUS DAD) "Love Don't Cost a Thing" and now this....
I've resisted buying that movie on DDD.com a bunch of times since it's non-anamorphic. I don't care if it's "only" Adventures In Babysitting. It deserves better treatment, damn it!
I love DeepDiscountDVD.com. I've bought at least 30-40 dvd's from them over the past few years. When I want to buy multiple DVD's at once, there's usually no better place. Beware the free shipping, though. I know in the past it meant they sent it on the back of a turtle. I think once it took something like almost 2 weeks for me to get the thing which wasn't a problem for me, but if you're expecting free and "anytime soon" opt not to use free shipping.
Yup. Amazon is another site I'm disappointed went that route. Their shipping costs can be nutty sometimes unless you ship it turtle-express. If I'm looking new-release dvd's or just 1 dvd, I usually still go into B&M stores because they often are just as cheap or cheaper than DeepDiscountDVD. But when I want to buy a bunch of them at the same time, DDD is the place because they always have a bunch of stuff I can't find at B&M stores.
That sounds great, but I have been buying my movies from Hong Kong lately. Sumprisingly, they are not bootlegged, they are in English and they onyl cost $0.60
Yeah, $0.60 dvd's that aren't bootlegged. This I gotta see... I'm sure the movie companies are making a killing selling $0.60 dvd's, while dummies like us pay $15-$20 per dvd.
