There’s not much coming out this month as far as I can tell (you guys can post some games that I might have missed). I’ve actually included a few games that were scheduled to be released last month, as well as PS3/Wii games that I’ve already previewed in their launch threads. So it could have been less that this.

Maybe I’m just being lazy...

RC Cola, lately I've been craving for a game similar to Chocobo Dungeon, Azure Dreams where you go in dungeons and it changes every time and the higher you go there's harder monsters. This type of game was very addicting and I would like to know if you know any in particular new or old that is out right now. Thanks

I only played one of those games (Azure Dreams), and it was so long ago that I barely remember what it was about. Judging from your description, you might want to check out Dark Cloud 2 for the PS2:
    http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/adventure/darkcloud2/index.html

Not sure exactly what made those games addicting, but there's a lot of stuff in DC2 that makes it addicting. The random dungeons and combat are actually kind of the weak parts of the game (not that they're bad, just that they're the weakest part). Whenever you're dungeon crawling, you'll be trying to find items to finish off rebuilding a town or area (you'll find out what I mean when you play the game), and you also find ways to create new weapons, upgrades, or items to use. IIRC, you'll actually be creating most of the stuff you'll use instead of buying it from shops (though you can do that too). It is probably one of the best RPGs on the PS2 (or at least one of the best action RPGs), so even if it is not exactly what you're looking for, it should still be a lot of fun.

It came out in early 2003, so it might be a little hard to find; it usually goes for around $20 new I believe. You can also look into getting Dark Cloud 1, but DC2 is better in pretty much every way, and you don't need to play DC1 in order to play DC2.

Sorry about not updating this thread in a while. It has been a crazy month for me. Oh well, it seems like most of the games being released this month are crap anyway...

RC, I have a 360 but rarely play it simply because there is no game out there for me. I am not much of a gamer but I do like games such as Age of Empires and Flight Simulator. Should I expect any games for my liking soon or should I go ahead and sell my system?

I'm not RC, but the PC is the best/only system for these type of games. I just started Civilization 4 and it's awesome.

Command and Conquer 3 will be released on the 360 next year, although I'm not aware of any other RTS games. RTS games aren't very popular on consoles (as you might imagine), although EA seems to be pushing the genre on the 360, and doing it well IMO. I think Ensemble Studios (the guys behind the AOE games) are working on a 360 game called Halo Wars, although I don't know how far away its release is.

I'm not aware of many flight sims for consoles either. The big one that comes to mind are the Ace Combat games, but those are usually exclusive to the Playstation platform (although that could certainly change).

As chow_yun_fat said, you might want to stick to the PC if you want to play RTS and flight sim games. I'm assuming that games like Gears of War, Saints Row, Dead Rising, Blue Dragon, etc., aren't to your liking (there will be many more games like that for the 360).
