Where's Head going? He's dropped out of the rotation and there's no reason to think he'll be back any time soon. What could we get for him that would be fair and would help our team? What teams might be interested? Anyone else likely to go?
I'm kinda slow everyone, and little ignorant about somethings that go on in the world, but what is so special about the 15th?
he will only shine in fast-paced, all offense no defense team like the suns and the warriors but i cant think of a trade that can benefit both teams
15th is the first day u can trade free agents, so if a team made a mistake, that is the first day they can correct it
We can pack M James, L Head, and K Snyder together for a PF/C, considering Deke is not reallying playing, we only have Scola for backup big man.
Main players that I like with the Trade Restrictions with a slim chance of being traded are Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw. The Trailblazers should want a proven veteran player.
If Head was traded, then wound up not playing in the league shortly thereafter, there is that distinct possibility that he got lucky things worked out for him like they did two seasons ago, let alone last season since he did fit in well with the JVG offense. SG is the position he's best suitable for, but the only problem is that he's too short to play at that position in the NBA. If he could ever develop the skills of a PG, then he has a lot better chance of lasting much longer in the league careerwise.
Don't forget Bonzi and Francis can leave after this season. We might opt for the insurance. Not to mention reasonable contract.
Exactly. Bonzi, Francis and Snyder (restricted) will all be free agents this summer. The Rockets may want to hold onto Luther in case they lose a bunch of their guards in the offseason. Plus, Head is playing for very little money and is a relative bargain at his salary. There is not much that the Rockets could get in return for Luther (for cap reasons) without it being part of a multi-player deal.
Rockets are now a quarter way into their season. Depending on how well they play against Toronto, Pistons, Mavs, Magic and Denver in the next couple of weeks. I think the success or lack of there would be a good indication if there'll be any moves soon.
IF head is traded he will not be traded alone it will most likely be with one or two other players and I guessing Head + Kirk/Novak + (you decide)
Honestly, unless we get a decent backup center, Scola will probably never start. Scola plays our backup center and backup power forward right now. He has limited time to play on the court with Yao at the same time and I think that's a shame. When people double Yao and Tmac, Scola has the offensive skills to knock down open shots. Trade some excess guards and get us a rebounding/defending F/C please.
