Heads up for all Death Cab for Cutie or Postal Service fans:
I just got an email alert that Death Cab for Cutie is playing in Houston on Friday, October 29th.

When I went to buy the tickets, the lady at the counter said these tickets were going fast. Tickets are $18
The show is at Numbers so tickets are limited. I hope they won't cancel like last time. :(

Tickets can be bought at Sound Exchange at 1846 Richmond... their hours are 11am - 7pm (7 days a week)

I'm taking an early lunch tomorrow and I'm gonna get me some DCFC tix!

I got mine at Ticketmaster. They charged a $5 convenience charge. How much is the convenience charge at Sound Exchange?

No, the Postal Service isn't playing. I just included that group name because Ben Gibbard sings in both bands. So naturally I thought if you are fan of Postal Service, you would like DCFC.

Wow, I guess I'll be buying all my tickets there from now on.

Do they sell tickets to all concerts or just a select few?

i started looking through ticketmaster and came across a few dates that looked interesting

snow patrol is in town on Oct 12 at Meridian with

badly drawn boy playing at the same venue on Oct 26

franz ferdinand is at Verizon on Sep 15

snow patrol i think would be worth checking out. anyone know where to get tix for that similiar to going to Sound Exchange for dcfc?

You may be able to get tix at the Meridien for their shows.

Franz is playing at the Verizon, I think you're stuck with TM on that one.

Sweet! I just got my ticket via ticketmaster. The charges suck, but it beats having to drive into town to get them.

Since none of my "real time" friends are into DCFC, I'll be going by myself. We'll have to have a cc.net hookup at the show.

They better not cancel this time...

Someone? Travis was the vocalist/guitarist in the Dismemberment Plan, a band that was a million times better than DCFC.
