Factory worker dies after being submerged in chocolate vat Wed Jul 24, 6:08 AM ET HATFIELD, Pennsylvania - A candy factory worker died after being submerged in a 1,200-gallon (4,542 liters) vat of liquefied chocolate, police said. Yoni Cordon, 19, of Philadelphia, was discovered in the vat by co-workers at the Kargher Corp. on Tuesday, authorities said. Police said they believe Cordon had been working on a platform near the opening of the vat, which is used for mixing and melting chocolate. Nobody saw Cordon fall and it was unknown how long he was submerged before he was found, Hatfield Township police detective Patrick M. Hanrahan said. Hanrahan said foul play was not suspected and the death was being investigated as an accident. *Ewww, poor guy and I wonder how many chocolate bars will be part of him!
Death is never funny, nor would I ever make light of someone tragically passing...BUT...too bad it's not Easter....this thread might actually explode!
maybe that's what happened to Jimmy Hoffa... he may have been a part of many Baby Ruths in the past! sorry, didn't mean to make fun of someone's untimely demise, but you gotta see some humor in the situation!
to go along with the picture: Oompa Loompa Loopidy Doo I have another puzzle for you Oompa Loompa Loopidy Dee If you are wise, you will listen to me When you are standing above a chocolate pit Look out or you just might fall into it Remember Issac Newton and his law of gravity Or you'll be a chocolate covered en...ti...ty... Oompa Loompa Loopidy Da Falling into chocolate will not take you far You will live in happiness too Like the Oopma Loompa Loopidy Do!
oh my god, i'm laughing so loud everyone in my house is staring at me! this is even funnier for me b/c at my old job we had a guy that looked EXACTLY like an oompa loompa... he was the right height, and had the waddling walk... we used to sing the oompa loompa song everytime he walked by to ask us questions on how to do HIS JOB! (no he wasn't a little person, that would just be mean of us... he was a really short annoying, moronic, boss sucking up, ratting us out for doing our work faster than him- and goofing off- because he's not smart, SOB! )
Hilarious thread....I don't want to seem to trivialize someone's death but....these responses have been ROFLMAO-funny This leaves me to wonder... Did the company throw away all that chocolate that he died in? Since upon death, the human body has a tendency to releace bodily fluids, one would think the chocolate would be pretty damn nasty...
