Well, if they ate all the ducks, then more power to them. If they killed them all just to piss off an animal rights group, then shoot them with their own guns and use their dead bodies to spell out "NRA" on the ground...
Idiots like this give hunters a bad name. I hate PETA and their methods, but these nimrods should be ashamed of themselves.
I should clarify that i think those guys are idiots, regardless of if they ate the ducks are not. I'm not saying hunter in gernal are idiots, but most hunters loveanimals. These morons are saying "Hey PETA. Screw animals, killing them is fun!". PETA are self-promoting jackasses, but honestly, who is against the ethical treatment of animals?
Ducks, Geese, Swans...they're all the same! Many states have upped the limit of blue, snow, and grey geese hunters can kill because there are so many of them that they are eating themselves to death in the habitat up north.
Yep, it's really sad. About half of their traditional nesting grounds in Canada are uninhabitable - I've seen pics, no grass or water just acres & acres of dirt as far as you can see. The big worry is a huge avian cholera outbreak, which would kill an estimated 50-75% of the birds.
Well, honestly, as long as they were going to hunt these birds anyway, I vastly prefer this image to one where they use their naked, beer-inflated bodies to spell PETA.
