    Not counting yesterday's trade.

    1. please don't acquire any new player who's contract runs past their 34th birthday.

    2. please don't acquire any new player based on what they "might" become, instead of what they already are.

    3. please don't acquire any new player unless they can nail the open jumper with some consistancy.

    4. please don't acquire any new player unless they are the prototype for their position.

    5. please don't acquire any new player with a contract longer than four years.

    6. please don't acquire any new player with a history of serious injuries.

    7. please don't acquire any new player with a history of bad behavior, drug use, or legal problems, no matter how much they've cleaned up their act.

    8. please don't acquire any new player that is undersized for their position.

    9. please don't acquire any new player that is over 30 years of age.

    10. please don't acquire any new player unless their contract is easy to trade.

    11. Build around #11 and #1 by locking them up to contracts into the next decade. Sooner rather than later. Mmmmkay :)

    Btw, Brent Price, Maloney, Cato, Taylor, and Moochie all violate at least one of my "ten rules for avoiding bad contracts".

    lol... fisher is a-prototypical, will be 30+ next season AND a little bit undersized.

    Drexlerfan you win... I guess Arroyo really doesn't violate anything. We're not looking for more than 10 ppg, 5 apg anyway.

    okay... but check it out he was born in august, so by the time of the first regular season game next year, he will be 30+. i said a little undersized: only damon stoudamire is shorter among starting PGs in the western conference, and only J-Will and Mike Bibby are 6-1. c'mon... 6-1? that's shorter than me.

    Are my rules really so bad. All I did was examine all the major blunders the Rox have made over the last ten years, and looked for common similarities.

    and while we are at it why not trade juwan howard and tyronne lue for garnett

    cmon think man ben wallace has become a franchise player, despite his lack of offense he is the heart and soul of that detroit franchise and they are not going to trade him unless they get Timmy,KG, J Oneal or Yao in return
