It is addicting. Great loot system and lots of hackin slash. Great way to keep busy for $10 until Diablo comes out.
I thought about posting this when I saw it on Steam a few minutes ago. I've heard great things about this game, but haven't played it. For $10, I'll probably buy it and give it a try. Supposedly if you liked games like Diablo I & II and Fate, you'll like this. Two of the creators of Diablo created this game.
I've been playing this game for the past week. It's an ok game. my only complaint is that the skills are too few and recycled between the three classes. I wanted each to be more distinguished instead all 3 classes are basically the same. oh and they should have made this lan so i could play with my friend. dang.
D3 is at least guaranteed not to come out in 2010. I'm gonna have to buy a new laptop by then just out of necessity.

Great game. I played it about a month ago. A steal for $10. Very, very diablo-esque. The best thing about it, IMO, is that you can run it on an old, piece of crap pc or even a netbook. Makes it very accessible for a lot of people.
Thanks. Was thinking about getting it earlier, but decided against it since I have a ton of other games I need to play. But for $10, it was impossible to pass up. On a related note, you can get Machinarium (plus Samorost2 and soundtracks for both) for $10 for a limited time: http://machinarium.net/blog/2009/12...mas-pack-machinarium-samorost2-for-10-60-off/ I think the download links go away after Christmas (or something like that), so you'll have to back it up yourself (unlike Steam or other similar services where you can just redownload it).

Does it??? lol. Yes, single player. That way you don't have to worry about 10 year olds coming up to you and begging for gold every 5 minutes. :grin: This game is a forerunner to another RPG they're working on right now that will be an MMORPG (aka, a moneymaker).
