We've all heard lots of speculation, does anyone know if/when the actual deadline to announce the new colors/logo/unis is? I've heard by draft day (which makes sense) but I wondered if anyone knew knew.

I have asked this question many times and have yet to get a concrete answer. Draft night seems like a given but I haven't heard anything concrete on it.

You would think the Rockets would have a timetable already locked in. I wish Tim would give us the info!

What was your reaction in '95? I was shocked, but didn't realize how bad they were until I actually saw them play in it.

To this day, I blame the failure to 3-peat to the uniform change... and not Hakeem's play Vs the Sonics. No. It was the uniforms.

How did you get too see the new uniforms?

Previously you said that you couldn't tell us what the uniform looks like. Well, since you sort of described it just now. Might as well go all out and tell us the details. :)

How does the new Rockets red differ with all of the other red uniforms that are out there (ie, Heat, Cliippers. Hawk, Cavs, Blazers, etc....)?

It better not have a big R, that will be the worst unis in the league. Worst than the PJs. I don't believe you anyway though.

DCBaller, could you use a drawing program on your computer to replicate the jersey you saw? If not then can you tell us why you think they are cool in a short essay... Trust me no one will care if you tell us some scoop! Life is too short man, just go for it...

I do not buy this and here is why: If you look at the league rules you will see what is and is not acceptable and just having a big R on the front is not acceptable.

No way would they Hire someone to design our uniforms with a big "R" on the front, hell romper room could do that.

This is the cool part: the R is backwards, like the R in Toys R Us.
