Dead Bolt Lock Question

    Along the lines of another thread I started...

    I want to buy 3 dead bolt locks for 3 different doors. Obviously I don't want 3 different sets of keys. I noticed at Home Depot you can only buy locks separately. How/where do I get 3 matching locks?

    don't some come in sets of 3, or ask someone that worked there! I think the ones I got came in a set of 3 or 4.

    If you get the same brand of lock for all three deadbolts (like Schlage), a locksmith will be able to key all three identically.

    I just did the same thing. Look on the packages, they'll have a key number. Several locks that come in the same case will have the same key. You can have the same style re-keyed, but this will save you from having to do that.
