Don't forget to change clocks back tonight.. gain an hour.. can extend your saturday night before halloween party an extra hour
So, what is everybody doing with their extra hour? Me, I'm glad to have it because I have a huge pile of work staring at me. (I have to grade about 40 essays, prepare to advise five people, grade eight Analytical Chem exams, prep class and lab for Monday, practice the piano for some stuff I have to play Sunday and Monday, practice singing for the choir concert tomorrow, and figure out some Organic labs even though that's not supposed to be my job anymore.)
Awesome an extra hour of sleep! I'm so happy it's starting to cool off. Can't wait to go snowboarding!
I'll make love to my girlfriend for -50 minutes just to say I could get us both off, eat a snack, finish an nba live game, and clean the house in less than 60 seconds.
Takes my wife 30-45 most times, though after the six week layoff, the first one was less than three minutes!!!
I notice how you worked in a little bragging about "the first one" here. I don't understand how most women take so long. Like you said, it depends how long it's been, but I would think after even a few days "without" it would be more like 50 seconds than 50 minutes. It's actually harder to feel anything after the first few minutes due to certain physical changes, etc., so best to strike while the iron is hot. It does help to let the woman set the pace. But you would think she would get somewhere sooner or later, and probably sooner, anyway, even if she just has to use your hand or something. It seems like it would be excruciating torture to wait 30 minutes or more to get where you're going. Now, multiples are a whole different story. (What to do with your extra hour: post TMI on a message board. )
Technically, -50 minutes means that I would start at let's say 2am and fininsh at 1:10 am because of day light savings. That means I only took 10 minutes to get us both off. but since it's only 1:10 am I still have time to eat a snack, cleans the house, and finish a video game before 2:01 am. And my girlfriend can't say that I didn't do it.
faos... I think it is in 2007... but I may be wrong about that... going to last a week longer and start a few weeks earlier. I believe.. That is what made me remember.. I recalled that they were going to move it in the future so that it starts in November (and at the time they mentioned Halloween would be in daylight savings time).. so today I was like hmm that change hasn't occured yet so it must be this weekend...
Which countries observe DST? Is it the whole world? It came up in drunken conversation on the way home tonight and noone knew the answer!
We wasted our stupid extra hour! We got up at 6:30 this morning to get ready for a badminton tournament at 8. When we got there, we couldn't figure out why the place was locked up and no one was around. We only realized what had happened when we got back to my gf's place. This sucks. I was looking forward to that extra hour of sleep all year, and now it's gone forever.
Maybe somebody here can help me but how do people working the "graveyard shift" do this change in time? Do they get paid for that extra hour?
