I was watching Jim Rome today, and Jim was interviewing David Stern Comissioner of the NBA. When asked about the likelyhood of Yao Ming still ending up in New York David said he was more than sure Ming will play for the New York Knickerbockers. Feedback?
hmmmm.........really? milo ____________________________________ If a person requires artificial resperation, and you are of the same sex as that person, and no one of the opposite sex is around to preform the procedure, you are gay.
Stern could mean Yao will play sooner or later. Yao doesn't have to resign with the Rockets when his contract ends up. Though I doubt NY will ever get under the cap with all their stupid trades...
That sounds fishy. Was this on The Last Word or on his talk show? I'll withhold judgement until I see the actual quote.
Even David Stern cant be that stupid. Actually he is a pretty smart guy so I refuse to believe that. Are you sure you heard him right?
I caught the end of the interview on the tv show and didn't pick up on anything. I'm sure I missed most of it though. I'm skeptical, sounds like a stupid thing for him to say.
i saw the interview. He never said Ming would play for the knicks. He said: he was sure Ming would be able to attend the NBA draft in New York.
What Booster said. More misinformation. for those interested, Stern was being evasive about everthing that Rome asked. When asked about Houston wanting Ming and whether or not their were significant hurdles to getting him and if China will give assurances that he will play, he stated that he didn't know about the hurdles and that he doesn't know if there will be assurances. And he did not say ANYTHING about the freakin Knicks, just asked if Ming would attend the draft in NY. Stern said he there's a good chance.
