Anyone else see this? How could the ultra-cool Diamond Dave of the 80's turn into this? I've got to get the memory of this out of my mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW5-mPbkKw8&search=david%20lee%20roth
Man, that was sad. At least he butchered on of the Van Halen songs that I can't stand anyway. I'd rather remember Roth like this: http://channel101.com/shows/view.php?media_id=1622
Hell, he wouldn't make it through initial auditions on "American Idol". He used to be able to sing. I'm not sure what happened. Bluegrass VH? Give me a break. He's really lost it.
It's all Eddie's fault. If he would just get his drunken ass into rehab, get his life back together, and reunite the original version of =VH=, everything would be great. THIS IS WHAT YOU'VE DONE, EDDIE!
Eddie Van Halen playing, no vocals version of Panama with Paul Schaffer on Letterman in 1985 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usxveq5U_Dw&search=van halen
The way it used to be, Hot For Teacher-Live(1985) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nT7XOlPWsN8&search=van halen
My favorite VH song, from my favorite VH album, during my favorite VH era. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0r0giCsDios&search=unchained van halen Listen for Eddie starting the 1st verse too early. Oops.
LMAO. Show me another frontman with enough balls to pull a stunt like this. David Lee Roth is the GOAT.
Sounds just as good as all the other bluegrass versions of bands and songs out there! Pickin' on Modest Mouse Pickin' on Pink Floyd Pickin' on Led Zeppelin Hayseed Dixie (bluegrass covers of AC/DC, Kiss and other classic rockers) and there are many more! Damn, I wish the real Van Halen would do a tour!
Watching The View is even worse then a guy watching Oprah. Insert a Clutch City video pronto to restore your testosterone levels.
I wasn't exactly watching The View...I just happened to flip to it when they said he would be coming up next. For the record, he sang the same crappy rendition of Jump that he did on Leno.
VH's show at the Toyota Center last year was one of the worst concerts I have ever seen. Had Roth been fronting them, I might have stayed, because I would be doubling over in laughter and unable to walk.
