http://www.startribune.com/sports/w...DiaK7DU2EkP7K_V_GD7EaPc:iLP8iUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUU KAHN! Are you f'n kidding me?You said Darko Milic was the best big man passer and compared him to Webber's former teammate Vlade, also insuating that he's a better passer than Webb himself. That sh-t is downright insulting. I wold have had an "agenda" after that too.
I don't understand how this guy came to become an NBA GM. I just read his wikipedia article. It said he was a sportswriter, then went to law school, then became GM of the Pacers.
i am glad there is a guy like Kahn out there makes me appreciate Daryl Morey 100000000000000000x more
I don't think Webber was even all that aggressive with Kahn in the interview... or walking in with an agenda. He simply reacted to Kahn's overselling of Darko. I mean, asking Webber when he finally felt comfortable in the league when he was rookie of the year and then a top guy on the Wizards playoff team? And now he is brining McHale into this? Accusing McHale of influencing Webber negatively? Christ, the guy just sounds paranoid.
It's too bad the twolves suck so bad. I'd love to hear a guest segment with JVG, but they'll never get a nat'l game.
It boggles the mind that someone with so much money and in a position with so much influence can be so incredibly stupid.
Kahns comments about C-Webb is juvenile and idiotic, especially when you take into account how Webber backed off Kahn after the interview and applauded him for sticking up for his "guy". wow wow Thats my reaction to reading the readers comments on that link! For those wondering, how Kahn still has a job or who in their right mind agrees with his moves... Read some of those comments lol, especially to which comments receives votes!
"We are NOT talking about Darko and me in the same sentence." My respect for Chris Webber just went up 300 points.
The irony of his comments is that Kahn was the one who was being defensive. He knows he's being panned in the media for throwing 20M at Darko. Webber's shock at being put on a similar level as Darko was just an honest reaction to a ridiculous comparison. There's no way in hell Darko is even in the same sentence as Webber. The only reason he's in the same sentence as Divac is that they're both Serbian 7 footers who dribble a basketball.
