Wow! David actually showed me he isn't as soft as I thought. BUT....where the hell did everybody else go? Derek Andersen should have stayed injured. As I have said in previous posts, the SPURS HAVE NO HEART! How embarrasing for a Texas team to go down like that! I originally thought the Lakers would win in 5. Bring out the brooms !
I'm waiting to hear The Cat's excuse this time.

    Lakers are AMAZING!

The Lakers are "amazing", but the Spurs "have no heart". OK.

I regret giving you the attention you so obviously crave by responding, but I just couldn't help but point out the obvious contradiction.

You were right-- they showed no heart. I said it in the other thread. It's pathetic any team with their season on the line would just be outwilled by the Lakers as the Spurs were tonight.

    So let me clarify myself.
Lakers are amazing because they beat down a team with no heart. Actually, they just RIPPED out what was left of the Spurs heart.
    No contradiction there.

Believe me I didn't want to be right. I wish the Spurs would've put up a better fight. I don't think even our beloved ROCKETS would've wilt and die like the Spurs did. I just hope this is more MOTIVATION for the ROCKETS to NOT LOSE TO THE SPURS EVER AGAIN!

Right. That's why we're watching the playoffs while all these "heartless" teams are in the playoffs getting destroyed by one of the best teams to ever step onto a basketball court. We're so much better than the Spurs or the Kings. [IMG]

Don't be surprised to see an overhaul of their roster if the sweep comes. Peter Holt doesn't like losing, especially his money (to the tune of $10M), so Avery Johnson, Sean Elliott and even David Robinson might be moving on.

Tim Duncan could regret not bolting for Orlando when he had the chance.

Hmm.. I thought D-Rob was pretty soft tonight. It seems all he did was shoot jumpers.

Rocket Rich -- I think I may have you confused with RichRocket. One of you needs a new moniker. [IMG]

We will be next year. Those teams are through. The Spurs are going to show their age, and the Kings will be headed to the bottom 7 in the lottery after Webber bolts to wherever.

And yes, the Rockets would have won at least a game against this team. Those teams are are heartless.
