Baghdad, Iraq: David, Hello from Iraq. I'm glad mmy Bulls are back, but what kind of chance do you give them in the playoffs. Also, while on R&R, I saw Phoenix pummel Denver and I saw LeBron lose to Houston. Looking at the brackets, if "Timmy's" not healthy, I think Denver could upset the Spurs. Also, watch out for the new "defensive-minded" Mavs, who could upset Phoenix. Remember, you heard it here first. -Anthony Reed P.S. A.I. for MVP - at least for the second half of the season?

    David DuPree: Hey Anthony
I think the Bulls will beat the Wizards in the first round because of their defense. I hear you, but I think Houston will upset Dallas in the first round and then go on to beat Phoenix before losing to the Spurs.

dallas, texas: who's is your pick on the first round playoffs, MAVS or ROCKETS? thanks

David DuPree: Rockets. I love the way Van Gundy is using Wesley, Barry, James and Sura.

Man, the Mavs are getting no respect. Looks like we're the hot upset pick this year, as the 5th seed always seems to be. Personally, I'd like a little more explanation than "I like the way the coach is using his role players." Well, in what regard?

Not that I'm inclined to disagree. :D I guess it was just a chat, after all...

Yeah, I found it a little weird that DuPree didn't take time to elaborate on his opinion, as he normally does for many of his questions. His answers were generally long except these. Probably just his gut feeling.

here's a question on espn answered by eric neel.....Remington: Mavs or Rockets? Do you think T-Mac and (limited) company can outlast the Mavs?

Eric Neel: (2:00 PM ET ) Tremendous first-round series. Styles make fights and these two play contrasting styles. I'm leaning Mavs, but it's very, very close.

Kinda funny how just a week ago, the Rockets weren't considered a threat or contender, but now that we are matched up w/ the Mavs, everyone is talking about upsets.

Obviously, the 4 & 5 matchup is the most even. I think this will be a great matchup and not only good for the state of Tx, but for the NBA.

    its on !

I think that a rookie coach and the lack of a solid 2nd main option (finley used to be that way, but he has not been as consistent)

funny - Ford said Stack would be Houston's third option - well it seems like he is Dallas' third option too !
