    If you single fellas and single ladies were to say there are places where the odds to pick up SINGLE chicks without boyfriends or SINGLE guys without girlfriends, I know it would be a club... but what other places would these be? :eek:

    I would say CHURCH. ;)

    FYI - I'm married. I don't really know and wouldn't know because I didn't date too much... but I did go to clubs and I know this will be the top place, y'all.

    "REAL" places are overrated. I'm a 31 year old atheist, liberal, dog-lover who will only date women who are in their late 20s - early 30s who are atheist/agnostic, liberal dog lovers. What makes it tougher is that I'm attracted to the "All American" looking women. That combination is practically non-existent in Houston so my best bet has always been to get online so I can start screening out the undesirables.

    I met my current gf online and she's a keeper ;)

    Through friends. Happy hour. Those two are pretty reliable. But honestly, anywhere works if you aren't afraid of talking to women.

    No joke. When was the last time you went anywhere to pick up a woman SwoLy? Dating has changed in the last 10 to 15 years. Many people have successfully met there SO\Spouse online and there is nothing wrong with it.

    I think the reason that you are so anti-internet dating is because you would be so horrible at it. The first time that you corrected a womans (assumption here) profile for spelling and grammatical errors she wouldn't have anything else to do with you. If you happened to not piss them off with that, they'd think you were a lunatic stalker for your blatant emoticon overuse and if for some crazy ass reason you went on a date with someone, there would never be a second because you would refuse to get off your moral high horse. Be thankful you have the wool over your wifes eyes SwoLy, be very, very thankful!

    Dude. The places I went, the people I met, I dated a few times... I changed so much I probably would have still tried anything but know too much about online dating it's not funny...

    Did you notice I " ;) " all my "online dating" posts, man... that cannot be an answer to the question... DUH, of course online dating... they're only there TO DATE!

    And don't bring Mrs. SwoLy into this... like you REALLY care... :p

    Are you looking for a long term relationship?

    or

    Are you looking for a mission/jumpoff/weekend warrior etc?

    For the 2nd one you can find those anywhere.

    For online dating are you talking about long distance or meeting a local girl online and building from there?

    I think it's damn near impossible to have a successful online dating relationship where both stay committed.
