I am sure you guys have seen these ads floating around the net. "Make $300 - 500 a week working at home doing data entry" Does anyone have experience with this kind of position? I am not willing to spend a penny for applying for a job since it just does not make sense to me. How legit are these ads?
That's a good place to start. If there is any kind of "investment" required, it's a scam. If people could really make that much dough doing data entry from home, more people would do it and they wouldn't need to constantly advertise for them.
Smells like utter bulls***. Kind of like those flyers that say that you can make money stuffing envelopes. Course you find out that they need a few dollars to get your order processed, and then it turns out that the envelopes that they were referring to are from conning people into thinking they can actually make money stuffing envelopes. Yes I fell for it. I was young and stupid and wanted to earn a few bucks during high school without actually working much.
But working 40hrs a week doing data entry .. while making $300 a week doesnt sound TOO good to be true.
Can you do this from home and, if so, how does one go about becoming a medical transcriptionistrator?
Yes you can do it from home. I know a couple of people who do it for income and have for years. I *think* they went to a trade school for a semister but I could be wrong on that. They said the hardest part is understanding the doctors (some with heavy accents) and getting the medical terms down. But they work at home, when ever they want and as much as they want. Not a lot of money but good money.
I will be contacting you for more information on this next year when I get laid off. Thanks in advance.
