    Thank you

OMG, this is the worst I have heard. Morey is DISSAPOINTED. I feel like he is starting to really quit. He is sick of all those injuries, etc.

    Sad, sad, sad

Maybe its the quality, he just sounds like he doesn't want to do the interview.

    it is not quality

look, they are not talking much about Yao, T-Mac. The main part is about Von and Dorsey

I feel really bad for him. What more could he have done? This season's certainly not over, but he deserves a shot to craft a team whose payroll wasn't 90% filled up by the time he took over. Based on his smaller acquisitions and the guys he got for Boston (Perkins and Rondo and Powe), I'm willing to guess that he will choose his stars with the same discretion.

Morey speaking about Dorsey: "...had 4 games. I'd say he's had six good quarters which won't cut it".

"...met for more than an hour yesterday ... had some issues understanding how important this period is for him".

In the middle of the interview he mentioned sitting back with Danny Ainge yesterday and followed that with something about heavy (couldn't make out the words) beverage.

I think he said he would have drank a heavy beverage if Danny Ainge was not Mormon.

    He sounds genuinely depressed.

I can understand why.. I'm depressed and the Rockets don't pay me.

You know what i think my favorite comment of that interview was...

"I don't want to say things to make excuses" or something to that effect.

He knows there is no excuse for it, but even in trying to reason it out has to say something.

I wouldn't have wanted to do that interview either, were I him, I give him lots of credit for not just "calling it in"

Morey is usually pretty calm and even-keeled when he talks, but I must admit he does sound a little down in that interview.

The main interesting point there was that he was disappointed in Dorsey and that Dorsey's main problem was not understanding how important this time is. Says he had a long talk with him... and kind of ominously suggested that we would see a different Dorsey today (12pm central game).

No the Vipers have a game at 12 central in the DLeague Showcase. You can watch it online.

Edit... lol dang was I too slow or what! I think you can watch archived games as well... if you want to see the 6 good quarters of Dorsey

Wow, Morey really sounds tired. He also sounds like he has no idea what he can do anymore, like if he is just about to quit because he is tired of trying to much.

I feel so sorry for Daryl Morey, who made so much effort to get Dorsey on the draft night and praised that this will be a great move complementing Yao Ming but instead he show dis pleasure to play in the Rockets uniform. How disgraceful!
