    Kind of funny how he calls T.O. and Moss a slouch while saying Ocho Cinco is a competitor after he and the Bengals laid down in week 17.

    Owens isn't a slouch, but It's hard not to say Moss isn't a slouch. I mean really. He could have been the GOAT WR, if he had a bit more desire in his game.

    Ocho was hurt (not that it would have mattered the way Revis shuts down #1 WR's). I think by competitor he means "actually tries on every play" which obviously puts TO and Moss in the "slouch" category

    While I agree with what you're saying even when Moss has a great game sometimes he makes it look so effortless that you would think he still wasn't trying.

    Sort of. He was unhappy about his contract and was whining all about it and threatening to hold out, but he reported but tore his labrum (pretty sure) in the first game of the season and played hurt all year. Not sure about his effort last season (as I didn't see a Bengals game) but he definitely had a bad attitude.

    Yeah but I can see what Revis is saying with Moss but I don't think Owens effort has ever been a question. Just his attitude towards not getting the ball, but as far as I know he goes all out on the football field.

    But Revis is playing and I'm not so he's knows more than I do.

    There's a reason why Revis shuts Moss down, because Moss basically shuts himself down. Basically, If Moss's effort level was the same when Jerry Rice played on every down, he would be without question the greatest WR of all-time. But he doesn't have that, so he's not the greatest WR of all-time.

    No doubt that TO prepares and is in shape and is a competitor, but he's been known to start taking off plays when it's obvious he isn't getting the ball...not to the extent of Moss but then again Fitzpatrick and Edwards were not Tom Brady with Brady's O-line
