    cons:
Big Numbers on a bad team.
Last two seasons averaged 64.5 games.
Never produced in a weak conference.

    PROs:
    Led League in FGs made/attempted/3Pts made/Fts made/attempted/steals/POINTS
Could be pried from a struggling franchise.
    Born on 420

I honestly believe granger could be had for a combination of brooks and wing of your choosing...battier/ariza. A palatable sacrifice for an elite all around player at a position of need.

    Thoughts?

He's nice, but it's not as if we don't already have too many right now.

Danny Granger is their Lebron. They might not even take Brooks and Martin.

this also begs a serious question. If that was their asking price would you bite?

Morey would be like "oh heyl nawh"

I would give them Battier/Hill or Battier/Anderson and a promise that they'll be very good.

    I think those salaries match.

Not an expiring for Granger. We gotta save those for the Chris Paul deal. But if Indy would do Brooks and Ariza, and the leftover 2011 first rounder, along with our 2012 first rounder, then I'd do it. That leaves us with both Knicks picks plus Budinger, Hill, and expirings to go after Paul, Okafor, and Posey.

    Paul/Lowry
    Martin/Jermaine
    Granger/Posey
    Yao/Okafor
    Scola/PPat
    Free Agent
    Free agent
    re-signed Chuck Hayes
    re-signed Shane Battier

after New Orleans buys them out and releases them.

If Morey nets us Granger, I will wet myself!

I seriously think he can be had at the right price. Indiana needs a point guard and we have one for them. Also I found it odd they drafted Paul George, who is eerily similar to Granger. I think he was drafted as a possilbe Granger replacement.

I think Brooks + Budinger + Battier + Jeffries + Hill for Ford + Granger

That still gives us room to sign a back up center like Brad Miller. I think he can be had for cheap if he is willing to play for his old friend, Rick.

    Lowry/Ford
    Martin/Taylor
    Granger/Ariza
    Scola/Patterson
    Yao/Miller/Hayes

Pretty solid lineup if you ask me.

The Pacers just made a agreement to stay in that area for 3yrs at 10 million a yr, seeing as Granger is the star of that team, I don't see them trading him.

We can also send them Carl Landry's trade exception and Jermaine Taylor for Dahntay Jones.

OOOOOOOOOOO we all can dream. I wish we had him too, although only if we keep scola, brooks, bud, yao, martin, pat. Everybody else is expendable

As a fellow Lobo who watched Granger quite a bit in college, I can tell you that this is a Morey guy. Humble, hard worker, dedicated, etc. Just need something to jettison him out of Indiana. Hopefully the Pacers continue to suck and we can offer Ariza, Lowry or Llull, Bud, draft picks, etc.

Murphy, Dunleavy, Tinsley, and Ford expire after this season, maybe the Pacers will look to blow it up and go in a different direction.
