We should offer him the minimum and let him at least have a shot in training camp. He's better than Collier, so what's the risk? Assuming that he'd be willing to take the minimum, as opposed to going to Europe or wherever. He's a decent backup C, and a very good 3rd C if that's what his role on the Rockets would be.

I would rather have Collier than Santiago. I have one of the Houston/Phoenix game taped and that player just scares me. He tripped over himself in that game. It was the game that Dream stole the Kidd pass at the end and a Francis dunk ended the game at the buzzer.
