I read this AM that the Clips waived Daniel Ewing. Since we are desperately in need of guards, do we want the hometown guy?
WTF!...are you trying to start 5 PG at the same time.....i'm just hoping you are being sarcastic about needing more guards...but whats sad is that i don't think you are being sarcastic because there would be no need fo rou to start a thread of this BS....somebody please lock this thing up....
guys im pretty sure he was joking, just like everybody else is making a complete joke of the situation as well. now for daniel ewing, he should go and get some tips from tj ford and maybe he can average more than 3.3 ppg
Apparently Moneyball dictates a team can never have too many point guards. Is he under 6 feet? That's a plus. Bring him on!
Yeah we dont need anymore under 6'0 guards but we still dont have one with a complete package nor one who can come off the bench and produce. Rafer does not cut it in my book... even as a backup. Brooks is a 3rd string for now and well Vspan and Lucas are unproven. My point is none of our guards are proven except MJ.
we could sign him along with Singleton and have 2 Clippers scrubs that averaged about 4 ppg combined. awesomez11!!!1!1!1!
Look, it's the new NBA. At some point we're going to have to go small. PG: Lucas SG: Brooks SF: Rafer PF: MJ C: Luther Dominance.
Speed, apparently, kills. And with the way the NBA rules are setup, that lineup would be unstoppable. They'd get creamed on defense though. LOL at the thought of Luther guarding Shaq in the post.
Luther head would be too scared to go at shaq. rick adelman "luther take it to the hole.." "umm.. you know what coach.. how about i'll just stay at the corner.. " lol
Gosh, some of you are so miserable about the Rox situation that you might as well go lay down on the train track... Actually, I wouldn't mind at all signing Ewing. I was serious about that, although I knew it would be received with skepticism because of our guard overload. Isn't he about 6' 3 or 4"? Wouldn't he be a more valuable bench player the JLIII? He was a pretty good shooter at Duke. What are his thus-far NBA stats? I find it hard to believe that Rafer is that much better... Last year he was logging playoff minutes for the Clippers and now he's on the street; I wonder why.
