completely different reasons. He said he would take the challenge of turning a bad franchise around. On the other hand how Cuban handled the K Mart issue would make him not want to play for him.

Cuban **** is on the personal level basically

it's going to be tough to be ready by preseason. i think he'll be ready by november.

midseason is the "latest" if he's not ahead of schedule, which he is.

unfortunately, this year is the only year people remember him for (what have you done for me lately?), which is understandable. if tracy does stay and come back on time, it's on him to play well and regain respect.

Why do we have to trade T-mac?
Can we see a resuscitated T-mac?

If he is working hard . . . I hope he don't push it
There is no . . great need for him to be in training camp
Better to 80% for 50% of the season
than coming back at 60% and be there for the full season

It sounds good, but I still don't get why TMac has to go to Chicago to rehab. Isn't his home in Houston?!?!?!?! I don't think he is fully committed to the Houston Rockets, except for the paychecks he'll receive next year. If he had stayed in Houston to rehab, I'd give him the benefit of a doubt.

Tmac.... buddy..... realize that your not a super star and that you are no better than the rest of your team. You know what happens to mob bosses that get over their heads, they get taken out of the picture... So dont go into the locker room and flaunt around like your something special bc your not... you are one of the starters for the rockets and thats it. A starter for the Rockets and that should be enough bc the team comes first. Its about the Rockets, not about Ron not about Yao its about the Rockets. Then and only then will you have success in this league.

I remember he had a triple-double game this season, and another near triple double game (off by one rebound), and he wasn't even healthy. The hate on these boards towards T-Mac is ridiculous.

This game was amazing, shows how good the rockets can potentially be when the big 3 is healthy and with brooks in the lineup.

    A. Brooks - 18 pts, 2 reb, 6 ast, 2 3Pt, 2 stl, 2 to
    Y. Ming - 32 pts, 7 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk, 3 to
    T. McGrady - 20 pts, 14 reb, 10 ast, 3 3Pt, 1 stl, 2 blks, 3 to
    R. Artest - 20 pts, 4 reb, 1 ast, 4 3pt, 1 stl, 1 to

he has to push hard b/c he needs to get that work ethic right if he wants to salvage his career. it doesn't matter if he's in training camp or not, if he works extra hard, he should be ready, whenever that is.

last yr, he came back too early when the knee wasn't fully right. he won't make the same mistake twice.

the doctor who performed his surgery is there and he wants to be monitored by him and the trainer who trained jordan/wade the entire time. he knows how critical this rehab is and he's taking it seriously.

A plan to trade T-Mac for Michael Redd wouldn't be a bad idea, especially if we could resign Artest for a 3yr below market deal.

We all know what he's CAPABLE of but the key question is "at what cost?" How many touches do we take away from Yao/AB/Scola to get TMac his 20?

Because Tim Grover is the best rehab trainer in the world. Tim Grover's Attack Atheletics Training Center which helped MJ, KB, DW etc to rehab locates at 4 miles away from Downtown Chicago.

I would let him play with the rockets if he's coming from the bench

Apparently as ROCKCITY posted, it doesn't have to be as bad as you might think:

    A. Brooks - 18 pts, 2 reb, 6 ast, 2 3Pt, 2 stl, 2 to
    Y. Ming - 32 pts, 7 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk, 3 to
    T. McGrady - 20 pts, 14 reb, 10 ast, 3 3Pt, 1 stl, 2 blks, 3 to
    R. Artest - 20 pts, 4 reb, 1 ast, 4 3pt, 1 stl, 1 to
