    Good to see him cry, I cried back in the day when he tried to exploit the skateboarding industry not only was it ridiculously corny....but i fell for it and liked the song cause I was a skater. Then I realized lupe is a poser and can barely even ride a skateboard, much like
    Pharell.

    LOL I hope you're trolling, because that's hilarious. If you really did love the song, I agree the production on it was at least B+, but the fact that the ***** can't even ollie takes away from the song's integrity. And as a man who has nothing but things like integrity, pride etc. That is important to me in music, since that's all I got. I think any music lover would understand this feeling, some people are just slow to it but I pray, they will eventually come around.

    And he's gone on record that he made Stick, Push just as a fan of rather heavy participant in the sport. It was the label that pushed him into making it his schtick and carrying a skateboard around to interviews and such.

    Nah, not trolling at all. I'm just saying to like it at first because you think it's a nice song, then to completely call it corny when you find out that he isn't a skateboard enthusiast doesn't make sense to me. I can separate the song from whether it is his own personal biography like TdashDub said. If it's that important to you, fine, but I don't care whether he actually skateboarded or not. Great song regardless to me. Part 2's even better.

    It's a fu***n song! Music is music and if you would have bothered watching the video he admits 6 years ago that he's not as good as anyone else out there, he just takes it as a chance to get out of the hood.

    Can't believe something as small as not being able to ollie made you so upset about him making a skateboard song. :rolleyes:
