This is not nearly as funny as the people seem to be making it. Ted Cruz did not "win the internet" with this video today, as Michael Berry put it on Facebook (my friend that caused Michael Berry to appear on my timeline has been unfollowed). The funny part is going to be Mike Judge's and the Ghetto Boys' responses, who I am sure aren't too thrilled to be attached to the guy.
That's pretty funny, that you would un-follow a friend because of a facebook post. I mean, I could understand un-following the content he posted if you felt offended, but to entirely un-follow the person? Why not just unfriend him/her at that point?
Facebook political activists can be rather annoying. Try dealing with a news feed that is about 80% political memes. I don't blame him.
Savvy, very savvy. Not surprised that Bernie or Martin didn't try this - they never had the balls to take on Hillary (i.e. "we're tired of hearing about your damn emails").
Lol. This is so random. I would except Donald Trump to put something unorthodox out like this, not Ted Cruz.
People who post dumb political stuff on Facebook get unfollowed or unfriended by me. It's just my policy. The last thing I want to discuss on Facebook is politics. Believe me, I am nearing this point. It's like fantasy sports. The only way to truly win is to quit.
That didn't even look like Hilary. Nor was it funny. This is funny: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yTCRwi71_ns" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Actually, it might not have been funny, but it is a notch above almost all of the other political adds, and is actually fairly competent bit of parody. It was amusing, but not really genius or brilliant except in comparison to what else is out there.
I don't know if Judge has any great claim here, separately my understand is that licensing can be pretty automated with rights management services, so the Geto Boyz might not do anything but cash the check. This reminds me of that last verse in the original song about Bush 41, which, even as a black teenager, I thought was a little out of bounds.
All the pop culture references in the world aren't going to make Ted more likable or his positions less repugnant. This ad doesn't even make sense. It makes a 68-year-old presidential candidate under federal investigation look like a bad ass.
