I just just sitting at my computer and I felted the whole room was shaking. It was very settle but I freaked out. The room is 30c and I thought it was just the heat that got me dizzy but I knew I felted something weird was going on. Two of my monitors was rocking just a but and I felt the floor was moving. I Went downstairs to confirm it but my sister in law said she never felt a thing. So I just recently google and it also confirmed by others. The last time I had the same such feeling was like 20yrs ago when a small tremor shook the whole building and I thought it was a truck just passing by.

Man, is this the year for earthquakes? Never thought it would hit this close to Toronto.

Hopefully all people from Toronto say or think that "felted" is a word. Chris bosh!!!

Terrible thread tho, when you say our area you make it seeem like your speaking of Houston.

    Fail.

I was thinking more so of the CF.net user jumping up and down while throwing a tantrum since the USA moved on to the 2nd round.

Can we agree that "our area" on a Houston sports site generally does not refer to Toronto?

Quebec is separating. "The epicenter of the quake was in Quebec, about 23 miles (38 kilometers) north of Cumberland, Ontario, on the Ottawa River, the USGS said."

    Haha, Canadians getting together?

I was on a bus on the Gardiner today when I noticed that the bus was shaking quite violently compared to the normal shaking. When I got to Union Station some guy was talking about it. Tornado warning today too.

lol toronto was probably the last thing on my mind. before I clicked i was like, "WTF? earthquake in HOUSTON?!?" Unless he thought he was on Raptorfans.net, "our area" refers to Houston about 99.9 percent of the time on this board.
