shouldn't he have enough court sense to know that the shot clock was going down? Also, didn't he realize that Smith was taking a wild fadeaway? If he doesn't foul Smith, I think we score the next trip down and we're down 2 with 20-something secs left... Instead we're down 6 with 20-whatever secs left...

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

You can't blame Cuttino for the loss tonight. It was a team loss. However, I am growing weary of the fact that Cuttino brings the ball up court and has to show flash and dash with his crossover, and dribbling between the legs. How many defenders have I seen watch him, and just steal the ball away. The Rockets should've won this game, there were a lot of mistakes, hopefully they can regroup and win the next one against the Bulls.

The biggest mistake was that Rudy didn't play Shandon in the fourth. I really think Shandon deserves more PT and should be more involved in the final minutes. Shandon and Walt was hot tonight. They're experienced veterans and that's why they should be in the game down stretch. Cuttino and Moochi on the other hand, should be used occasionally. I still like the idea that Mobley comes off the bench and let Anderson be our starting 2 guard and back up SF.
I heard someone criticize Shandon's inconsistent performance, but how can you expect consistent performance from a player who is given inconsistent minutes?
