Well, earlier I predicted that the Nuggets would set the NBA record for fewest victories in a season, but now that Cleveland has traded their ONLY halfway decent player, it looks like there are two favorites in the LeBron James sweepstakes... I'll still stick to my guns and say that Denver will finish with the NBA's worst record and set the all time record for futility at 8-74. Look for Darius Miles to start taking every shot he can in Cleveland. He might score in the mid 20's while shooting in the 39-44% range. So, I ask you, fellow BBSers. Who will suck more? Cleveland or Denver?
Even though I get to see 50+ Cavs games a year, they will suck more than sucking is possible, if that sounded right. I tell you, once Wags and Miles develop, and Cleveland will get a good lotto pick, and Diop develops, they'll be a force. Just Watch.
A-Train . . . . don't worry I think your prediction is safe Just think. . . the two ONLY meet twice a year so . . . . at worse they will split. . . . . So that would only be ONE more victory for the worse record in history 8-74 Rocket River
Denver will definitely suck more. They do have Howard and they might keep Posey, but that's about it. Their main two blocks now are not only rookies, not only from foreign leagues, but also young and raw. Cleveland, on the other hand, does have Miles with a few years under his belt now. And, while they don't have much else of note, they are in the EC.
Denver will be a lot better than people think. They have Juwan, they have Marcus Camby now...and Mark Jackson at the point. I predict 22 wins from da Nugz.
Denver will play two-thirds of its games against the mighty Western Conference. Cleveland will play two-thirds of its games against the weak teams in the East. No matter who has more talent, the Cavs will have a better record.
I think Denver will win at least 10-15 games. Cleveland is definitely a worse team though. I wouldn't be surprised if Dajuan averaged 25 points (40% fg) and they had the worst record in the league.
The damn Cavs swpt us last year and we split the season series w/ the Nuggz so I say the Nuggz are gonna suck more. Howard (average player at best), Posey (average to slightly above average), Jackson (old), Camby (will play 50 gms at most) and a rookie make for a brutal starting lenup! At least the Cavs have Miles & Wagner to pose somewhat of threat on offense. So its still Nuggets all the way.
Seriously? That is more wins than Golden State won last season, and they at least had Antwan Jamison, Larry Hughes, Richardson, and Fortson. That is almost as many wins as Vancouver had last season, and Vancouver had two rookies that were both better than Skita or Hilario will be(Probably). They also had Williams and Swift.
Cleveland: Denver: D. Wagner M. Camby L. Murray M. Jackson Z. Ilgauskas J. Howard D. Miles G. McCloud (maybe) R. Davis N. Tskitischvili T. Hill C. Mihm Close call, but I think the Nuggets are worse. McCloud isn't even good, and Mark Jackson will likely be waived.
please tell me the Cavs v Nuggets clashes are going to be nationally televised ..... man special !!!!!!!!!!
