A friend of mine from the Dallas Filmmaking community is premiering his latest opus - The Theory of Revenge - Wednesday, May 7th at 7:30pm at the Magnolia Theater in Dallas. The tickets are $5 per and can be purchased ahead of time at the Magnolia Box Office now or at the time of the show. It's a local, made-on-video production starring local actors (many of whom will be in attendance, though not Julie Arebalo, which is a shame because she's hot, and at the last premiere, she ended up tongue kissing Stephanie - my stripper friend - which was nice), so don't go expecting Citizen Kane, but this guy is certainly a good filmmaker given what he has had to work with. His last flick - The Last Night was a nice little zombie flick that was well worth the $5 I paid to see it back in October, 2001. And I expect this flick will be even better. Also, the thing is likely going to be violent. I've been advised that if the thing were rated, it would get a hard R, so those easily offended by language and violence should probably stay away. At any rate, I know he wants to fill the theater as best he can, and I just thought I'd spread the word in case anyone on here was interested in seeing true independent filmmaking. For more information about the flick itself, check out his website at http://www.psychospasm.com Oh, one big bonus, I'll be there, so there's a chance anyone who shows up can meet me. I know that will be a big selling point.
I've met you... someone gets kidnapped on The West Wing next week. I'll try to make it. Just there today to see Identity.
I'll miss Matthew Perry's character...great acting. Seriously, I'll try to make it. I'm less than two minutes away from the theatre, so I really don't have an excuse. And yes, mrpaige is scary, but in a cuddly sort of way. Not that we've cuddled or anything.
