i hate the cowgirls and mavpricks as much as anyone, but should we really laugh at dallas when our football team has never qualified for the playoffs and our basketball team is in danger of not making the playoffs?
I refuse to post either of those logos on my desktop in any situation. Now if it were the "My Little Pony" version and some derogatory one for the Boys then OK.
Just sad that the cowboys have won 5 super bowls in the past... Otherwise, the Texans have won the same number of playoff games in the past 11 seasons. All the Cowboys past aside... Houston has more titles, and may have more anyway, all sports and eras considered. I did feel bad for T.O. though... And FWIW - at this pace the Texans may get a playoff win before the current Cowboys do.
BTW - the defending Super Bowl champs lost at home after a bye, with home field advantage... and their all pro-QB didn't even go to Mexico last weekend... Go figure. The Giants just all around out-played the Cowboys... Meanwhile, I'd say that the Chargers really embarrassed big brother Manning.
How so? The Cowboys had more passing yards, more rushing yards, more sacks, better 3rd down percentage, more time of possession, etc. How were the Boys out-played? The Giants got lucky.
This is more about the city of Houston having to go through choke after choke while dallas always comes out on top. Now for two years in a row for each team, they know how Houston feels......and I love it !
The Giants outplayed them for the last 7 minutes or so. Cowboys had the ball for a LONG time and couldn't move it -- it was one of the more impressive defensive performances I've seen in a while.
You kinow what's REALLY funny! They have 12 or 13 players in the pro bowl and the Giants have how many? Can you say OVERRATED!
Penalties and clutch plays. The Giants won... not "got lucky." Did you watch the whole game? By "outplayed" I mean... out-lasted, stayed focused, did not shoot themselves in the foot, kept their cool... they outplayed Dallas... made plays when it counted. It was no fluke. And they may have a shot at Favre and the Pack, I hope not, but they may. I think the Pack will win (as mentioned in the other threads)... but the Giants are on a strong surge right now. I'm laughing the most at Tiki and Shockey right now though.
they made plays, the cowboys didn't. luck is winning the lotto, heart and skill is winning a playoff game. cowboys have no heart. they lost at home, in front of their fans. i'm surprised lil pun, that you pulling that 'stats' excuse. Rockets fans know that the most important thing is heart and making plays in crunch time for team success. That translates to any sport. Robert Horry made 1 bucket vs the Spurs in game 1 of the 1995 WCF... that 1 bucket was the game winner. F$%% the stats Sean Elliot had!! no one cares or remembers!
