Man, this is a long season. The games have looked somewhat ok latley...we just have a bad coach...maybe more than 1 too, but definitly 1. Hmm....hope Roy...hehe...ROY...could play really well to help his ROY chances, although I think it may be a bit too tough for him to win it. Maybe good ol' Woody can jumpstart the offense with some good runs as well. Oh yeah, I think Emmitt is getting kind of close to another 1,000 yard season. I forgot if that would be another record if he gets it again this year, but it wouldn't hurt to see him get it. He's been looking a lot better lately. Also, I think the line has improved some lately. Why is everything improving lately?
You act like you're the only person like that. It really doesn't "help" to win right now. Only way I'd take most wins as a victory is if the whole team plays great...fat chance.
Every time I see Robert Thomas...I wonder how this guy made the team. He is the worst blocker I have ever seen. I've only seen him make one or two decent plays. Mostly, I've seen him miss a bunch of blocks or weakly block an incoming rusher who then sacks our QB. His primary purpose is to block and he can't do that worth a damn. So, why is he on our team? If he's around next season, then I won't be. If he does happen to be back, then he better be much, much better than he is now. We are seriously lacking at his position with him out there.
And another thing...someone get Campo some Prozac. Have you ever seen a more down and out person in your life? It's like he's given up. He's normally pissed off when the team is screwing up and yelling. He hasn't said a word. Pretty funny.
He gets me mad too. I'd rather have just about anybody back there. As long as someone would just get the way of a tackler, that person would be better than Thomas. If he could block, Emmitt would have gotten the record LAST year. (I don't know for real, I just wanted to say that.) Man...he sucks. I wouldn't worry too much about him staying at FB next year. The Cowboys drafted a FB in the draft and I think he was doing well in training camp. I want to say he dented someone's pads with a block and he was going all out every down. But he messed up his ACL, I think. If he can return, I'd be happy since he appears to be better. Even with one leg, he'd be better. There's also this other dude they had at FB. I think it was Zimmer or Zimmerman. I can't remember. But he blocked real hard as well, and he also got hurt. I don't know if he got better and went elsewhere, but we should be able to give these 2 a shot next year. Plus, we still got another draft and unsigned rookies and players to choose from.
Bye bye Dave Campo. Now, if Jerry would be willing to relinquish the GM role, he could have virtually any coach he wants. Holmgren and Mariucci's names have been kicked around.
