Either they are still adapting to Kidd in the lineup or they've regressived badly. I mean they were still suppose to be a great REGULAR season team coming into this season. But they aren't even showing that now, much less going deep in the playoffs. Of course as a mav hater, i hope they never win a ring. They had chances in the past, but now i think they blew it.

Potentially the last game in Seattle for the Sonics. It was huge. Earl Watson said it best himself, this wasn't about the players on the floor. It was bigger than that. It was about the fans. A loss was unacceptable.

Dallas is a lock for the playoffs and they are neither going up or down in the standings so maybe they gave the game away to make those Seattle fans proud?

    Just a theory. :p

Well, if Denver beats the Grizzlies in Denver(which they should), that puts Denver at 50-32 and the tie breaker (head to head 2-1) over Dallas. Dallas is now 50-31 with one game left hosting the Hornets on the last day.

Very likely, Dallas would have to win that game in order to face the Hornets in the 1st round; otherwise, they'd face the Lakers and allow Denver to jump to the #7 seed.

Seattle Sonics: where Last NBA game happens.

Good win! Dallas has nothing to lose anyway. Let Seattle have one more good memory.

    Bye-bye Seattle!

Everyone keeps saying this, but they're forgetting that the Nugs have the tie-beraker over Dallas. We have a winnable game with Memphis at home. Dallas has to play a Hornets team that is playing for the 2nd seed (and could drop as low as 5th I think).

The Lakers will be #1 only if they beat the Kings tommorrow. Nobody is sure about the seedings yet. So, it really depends on how the rest of games play out. Two days ago, we all assumed the Hornets would be #1.

I dont really think the Mavs care about playing the Lakers or the Hornets. The Mavs matchup against the Lakers or Hornets are quite even. The Mavs may want the Hornets a little more just for the Hornets lack of playoff experience. And if the Mavs really care about matchup, they still can go full force in their last game and try to beat the Hornets. There is not too much difference.
