"His kind of genius hasn't passed our way often, and probably won't again anytime soon. Moises Rojas Alou, scion of what is arguably baseball's most-gifted family of hitters, may be the least-appreciated great athlete -- of any sport -- in Houston history. "

I wish the rest of Houston would feel the way we do. It would be so sad to let a rare talent like Alou go. Bagwell's talents arent rare. There are many Home Run Hitters, who can't get in done in tha clutch. (See Barry Bonds, A-Rod).

I mean, Alou is a freaking threat to win the batting title every freakin year, but the Astros want to get rid of that. I would trade Bags and Bidge (for pitchers) before I would trade Alou, but I'm just a fan, what do I know. I just want to see the Astros WIN, that's all. Alou's timely hitting means wins for the team.

"So cherish him while he's still ours. It's a shame, but odds are we won't fully appreciate what we had in Moises until he's gone."

Dead on! Damn right is a shame. It's simple question. Do the astros want to win? If they keep Alou, then it tells me that they do. If they do not, then they will continue being mediocre like they always are.

One more thing. Dont we have a new stadium? Money should be less of an issue today. Alou has four-five good years left. He is our future. The Astros better not blow it!!!!

Sounds like Robertson's odds are favorible.
