Simple question: do you think that the government should disclose that it was easy to sneak the materials for a dirty bomb into the country? On one hand, it is important that we know the truth in how permeable our borders are and what kind of security risk we may be in, as well as if our gov is doing the appropriate job in protecting us. On the other: It discloses to terrorists that it is easy to replicate or achieve the same goals. It also creates an unnecessary fear in the population which may lead to overprotectionist actions (when those actions should instead be done by the government). I actually can't decide, so i'm seeing what people think here.
I find it interesting that this was done and reported during the same time that the whole immigration debate is going on.
So we pull out of Iraq where the military is killing large number of brown skinned folks, bring the troops home, invade Mexico, kill large numbers of brown skinned folk, take Mexico's oil and save on the travel costs. The military will save even more if they use priceline.com.
