Dwight's finally showing some sackage.. although I guess I'd feel a little more froggy to leap if I were on the Lakers too.

Considering Dwight's tarnished rep, I think a lot more people would be jumping in on Shaq's side if he wasn't currently sabotaging Inside the NBA.

I was gonna start a thread similar to this.

I have a feeling that if Shaq wasn't so good with the media and had so many funny quotes and moments, I have a feeling he would be considered one of the biggest jerks in NBA history. The things he's said over the years about various people his unbelievable. He pulled this same ish with Andrew Bynum when he first joined the Lakers after leaving for Miami.

I don't know Shaq personally and from what I can tell he has some good in him. He did pay for the funeral of George Mikan for example but did so in a blatant PR move. He needs to get his ego in check because I've gotten to the point where I don't like his personality as much as I can tell just observing his behavior over the years.

Theory: Shaq ****s on all these centers because he wants to light a fire in their asses.

I don't know why Shaq is the way he is, so bitter about everything and generally likes to be an ******* to everyone for no apparent reason

Its really their business. I don't think Shaq is hating on Dwight because he's jealous that Dwight is better than him. Shaq is much more dominant than Dwight will ever be. I don't think Dwight is that good compared to the centers in the past. I just think Shaq don't like him because of all the stuff Dwight is doing. I think the hate is towards his actions, not jealousy.

If you read evertyhing else from the transcript (what Howard said) he wasn't being malicious in his answer to the Shaq comment.

Dude has a big ego. People have been kissing his behind for decades now and because he was a such a dominant player he feels that gives him a license to say and do whatever he wants. As noble as it was for him to get his doctorate, join a police force and fight crime he got his badge taken for opening his mouth and doing whatever he felt like.

If he's not careful, he may end up alienating himself from his peers and will just consort among the average Joe who who will kiss his behind no matter what short of him doing something really heinous.

Shaq is an analyst and one of the best center's ever. He offered up his opinion and looks like Dwight can't handle the criticism.

One on one right now who would win Shaq or Dwight?

Shaq is going overboard in pointing out Dwight's offensive lack of polish and trying to prove that Dwight is not as good as he was in his prime. Dwight is going overboard in saying Shaq's done and taking it personally because he knows Shaq is calling him out for not being as good as Shaq was in his prime.

Which player would you rather have...Shaq in his prime or Dwight in his prime?

    Shaq is really so competitive...

Dear Shaq...even though we hated playing against you...You are 1st ballot HOF...you have accomplished way more than Howard will and that is a fact...

But father time has no mercy on anyone...
