Give the game ball to Jeff Biglydick.

First quarter they held us to ZERO points for 5 or 6 minutes, yet they were only up by 12 at the end of the quarter.

Fourth quarter the Worriers were 3-18 and simply couldn't get it done when it mattered.

Our offense was inconsistent all night, but our D was solid through.

That was by far the most engaged I saw harden in the last 4 or 5 minutes of a big game . He just took curry out of the game. Didn’t lose him and always Closed out hard.

Cp and Trevor were outstanding and Tucker was a monster

They scored 12 in the 4th quarter.....DEFENSE was most assuredly the key.

    As it should be.

A Mike Dan Tony team won a huge road WCF game because we played smart, physical defense.

    There should be 700 threads.

Yep. We got physical too. I think that is the biggest key. When we foul, it needs to be hard. I don't know how many times Klay and Curry had to get back up off the floor after a shot but it was a lot.

One way we could get more physical is to have Capela constantly body up on Green during those isolation plays we run. Dont let Green stand there in the paint. Push him out and make him push his way back in. Wear him out.

Another thing we need to do more of is run Klay and Curry through more hard Tucker screens. Make them work on defense.

One of our strengths is thiccness. GS is wormy and wirey. We can take the hits. They can't. So every opportunity to add on a little more soreness and pain helps. It all adds up at the end of the game. Like body shots in boxing or mma.

Definitely credit to Jeff but i still think the main reason in all of this is James...when he plays hard, we're just a different and better team, obviously playing 5 on 5 instead that 4 on 5 is already a big difference...but other players follows him too, we need him to play this kind of defense to be our best version and beat the Warriors, i'm telling you everyone on and off the court was shocked when in the second quarter James murdered Curry and KD with two defensive plays, that's how big of a difference he can make.

Could not agree more. When these guys get pushed around they miss shots and turn into whiny little b****es.
