Came across this; we should all pledge to do better: "Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your confidence." Any idea who might have said this? I know but I'd like to see some conjectures. If you know for sure, please sit on that knowledge. Please don't google the quote and spoil it for everyone. This is a game... When 10 serious guesses are offered, I'll cite the author.
education <> patience it's like people saying "I never lose my patience, therefore I'm educated" wrong!
My entire life I have mistakenly assumed that education was the assembly and understanding of knowledge. This concept that patience = knowledge does seem to be in line with the GOP's views of science and reproductive health.
Just came across this from Groucho Marx: "Now, there is a man with an open mind... you can feel the breeze from here."
I think HR knows the answer, although I am puzzled by the commentary. Would you care to reveal the source of the quote and explain your commentary?
It is a crappy quote if taken literally. If one does not lose confidence, then his opinion may very well never evolve and then we are left with never correcting the wrongs is society. Also, Robert Frost is over blown..... had to spend 2 years studying his work.
