As much as I like LMA and think he'd be a great fit, I don't think he wants to come here and I think we should move on.
We need to go after Collison and Stuckey and call it a day.

How do you know he doesn't want to come here?

Because I believe Woj when he says he's narrowed his choices and it doesn't include us.

I think it might have, bottem line is we have our bird we have our Parrish now we need our mchale, It's not a slight being a mchale. theirs only 3-5 players at any given time good enough to be the best player on a championship team were very lucky we have him already at such a young age.

We do need him surrounded by other great players if we want to win multiple championships, otherwise we will wait like with dream and win a ring on hardens last year or two in his prime when all things click. Im okay either way but dammit, surrounded by better players now he can lead us to 3 rings in the next 5-6 seasons, I don't want to wait.

If I'm Morey, I'm calling Hinkle right now and see if he still wants KJ back.

    Provided that LMA chooses us:
Three team trade between Houston, Portland and Philly.

Sign and Trade KJ to the 76ers along with whatever assets. KJ would be signed for >8M.
Trade Portland Jones, Pap and picks. Maybe Philly puts a pick in too.
    Houston gets LMA.

That or hope Portland likes KJ enough to sign and trade for him with Jones, Pap and picks for LMA.

Reading is fundamental. He wrote that league sources say SA and Phoenix are the likely last two teams standing.

Of course the league thinks it. Two teams cleared out cap space in their attempts to get him. At least one of those teams will look like a sucker soon.

Philly could probably just give us rights to an overseas player and that trade would go through imo.

If the Rockets sign LMA they are looking at $85,837,890 on 10 guys(Howard, Aldridge, Harden, Ariza, Brewer, Beverly, Motiejunas, Dekker, Capela, and Johnson) which is over the apron. That would give us a smaller MLE to use, and any injuries would cause us to have to cut salary before we could add any players.

At this point I'd rather to work out a way to get a Williams to back up Beverly and Harden, and resign Smith and Harrell with the MLE.

Would you give up Dmo if Philly wants him in a KJ sign and trade in a three team trade with Portland for LMA?

Then sign Smith to the MLE and roll with a LMA/Smith power foward rotation?

As much as I would hate to lose DMO, I would have to do it The chance for a championship is now and even though Dmo helps and us more ready than Jones, getting LMA is just too important

I'd rather have Udrih than Mo Williams.

Yes, for the reasons you said. LMA/Smith would be one of the best PF in the NBA, along with Dwight at center.. Oh, man.

Can someone tell me if this is legal:
3 team trade with Sac and Pacers:
Sac in: Jones, future first from Houston
    Pacers in: Dorsey, Prigs, Papa
Houston in: Collison, Stuckey (S&T at around 4-5 million per year)

I'd be so down for KJ to go to the Lakers and then do a sign and trade KJ/K-Pap for Nick Young. He'd be a nice shooter off the bench. Brewer brings it on defense, Young brings it on offense. Our bench really needs a scoring presence..

It was a good deal, but i'm not crazy about retaining Bev. He did not have a good season last year & I think he'd still serve better as a backup.
