Rondo is just done in Dallas and it has been a total disaster.

He thought this whole time that no matter what, he was going to get a max deal with the Lakers, which is far from the truth now. (if you asked me in January I would have said for sure).

OK, how? Portland (a) has to agree and (b) then an appropriate SnT must be effected without there being an appropriate Rock/contract to build same.

So, I hope you are spot-on but I just don't see how?

Think this is a hard one actually. Would like to keep the core for next season instead of chasing for a big three at all costs. Thanks for the info though CyberX. You are the man.

Yep, truth. However, they are different skill sets. Room for both.

Good man, please show me how to believe on this.

Cyberx--What would you put the chances of Houston say vs. Dallas or San Antonio picking up LMA?

ex: Houston 30% Dallas 10% San Antonio 40% Portland 20%

So LMA himself has expressed interest in coming to Houston?

Also, what are you hearing about Rondo's future and how things have fallen apart in little d?

Thanks for the info! Every summer is filled with excitement as a Rockets fan.

How do you think LMA and Dwight would work next to each other?

Does LMA have legitimate interest in coming to Houston? or is it too early? Honestly I felt he was fully committed to Portland playing through injury and all.

Aldridge is better than Bosh, there is no reason that Morey will not go for Aldridge.

Will we be able to keep Brewer and Smith if we sign LMA and get rid of Ariza and Jones?

Any trade would have to have Trevor Ariza in it. Ariza and Paps makes the numbers work. I would really hate to lose Ariza but LMA is pretty much worth it.

Yes because we would be operating above the cap, and would still have our exceptions. We would just have to lose Ariza, Paps, and youngsters that portland would be interested in.

I guess the rockets would just have to somehow make the salaries work next season, maybe even pay the luxury tax, until the salary cap goes up big time.

If they do somehow sign aldrigde I'd have to assume D-mo would be the odd man out in the short term. His game would suddenly become extremely redundant.
