Yeah, I used to be of the Jim Rome mentality, too, that college baseball often had higher scores than college football. However, with the adjustment to the aluminum bats the scores have come down dramatically. I guess you could argue that better pitching has something to do with it, too. Anyway, this CWS has been extremely competitive- I'm just hoping Texas has two more W's left in them.
If you jinx us, I will hunt you down and give you such a tongue lashing you will be emotionally scarred for life. THOSE WOUNDS DO NOT GO AWAY. On the other hand, we've got our best pitcher going tomorrow - and I'm still unsure how Florida's rotation is going to shake out. Advantage to Texas.

I <3 David Maroul. That play he made against Baylor in the first game, the diving play, and gunning the batter down from his knees. Next year, we might be even better. I can't wait to see Danks in a Texas uniform.
Rose Bowl champs and the College World Series. Has been a good year. With PJ back, Gibson, Buckman, and Aldridge all back, hopefully the hoops can get back into the act as well. Hook 'em!
