Just heard Morey on the CW news saying they're looking to add a veteran for the PF position..? Not sure if it's new thread worthy.. But I was just confused.. I never heard or read anything about going specifically after a "veteran" for the PF spot..
I just have a gut feeling Mikki Moore will be the guy and I think that might be wise he can score effictivly and with Hayes that would be a solid one-two. Plus he could add a few center minutes at 7 feet.
well their weren't any immediate impact pf's available at 26 so it's been pretty obvious that we wanted to address that postion with a veteran player. also veteran player doesn't mean old player. chuck hayes is technically a veteran now.
He is the best free agent PF available, I hate to say it, but it is true. But, I still think it will be a trade.
I know he is not the most popular guy but I really like Gooden. A perfect finish to the offseason for me would be to trade Alston in a package for Gooden and then sign Brevin Knight.
Pj brown = chuck hayes. i doubt it's PJ. it's gonna be Webber. he knows the motion offense and can still score around 14 to 16 a game.
I really like Gooden, but there is no chance the rockets have what it takes to get him. But instead of Brevin Knight, id take Franchise
Drew Gooden would be ideal. he's still young and can score reall quickly in the low post. he and hayes complement eachother well. a head and rafer packiage might get it done.
How about juwan howard? I think he's still in the league, although don't recall seeing him during the playoffs.
I heard he tore it up during the regular season last year. If we had a PF like him on our team....we would probally win the .................
Actually i think Webber would fit our new system perfectly. He already knows what the coach wants. He's still a great passer and can rebound. Not to mention he's over 6 feet tall! We don't need him to be the leader, just the 3rd or even 4th scoring option. For the right price, i don't see why to hate on him.
