Did anyone hear the sports radio 610 update where David Dalotte asked mobley what he thinks about the fans in Houston knowing that they are down 0-2 to the lakers. He sais "the fans don't know anything, can't coach, and the fans need to focus on more serious things in their life which they have problems in their life. And I could care less what fans think" I was never a mobley hater, but how can he say that when we are the ones paying his salary. I know he was frustrated with being down 0-2 to the lakers, but this is unnacceptable. What do you guys think. Mobley is so dumb, he fouls Kobe sending him to the line with like 1 sec left in the 3rd quarter that allowed Kobe hit 3 free-throws. That changed the momentum of that game 2.
I heard that and couldn't believe he said that. Another thing he said about the fans are, "they need to worry about their families".
What Mobley obviously doesn't realize is that if the fans didn't take the sport seriously, he wouldn't be able to make a living doing it! You would think that he would have learned at least basic economics at a major university
um, mobley is right, houston fans are horrible. look at what half of these idiots have to say about francis and you'll see it's pretty clear.
I agree that he knows the sport more than we. That goes without saying. However, it's extremely silly to state that the fans shouldn't take the game seriously. If we didn't, there wouldn't be a league where grown men could make millions playing a game.

Mobley should get booed. He is the one who is the crying how the fans don't come out to see them at the Toyota Center and now he is saying they shouldn't worry about the team? Come on, the fans will be crazy on Friday and since I'll be there, I will be booing the hell out of Mobley every time. For him to say that the fans "don't know nothing", well atleast everyone on this board would have know not foul Kobe at the end of the third quarter.
I totally side with Mobley, because about 80% or more or the Rockets "fans" who show up at the games are tight ass corporate suits who could care less and want to be seen at the games, but not heard.

Francis on the other hand is calling for support from tha fans. I quote: "Hopefully the fans will believe in us like we believe in ourselves." The videos on Rockets.com is a good watch. Get a feel of how everyone is feeling.
